MORE than $40,000 was raised to support the families of sick children across Sunraysia at The Lucas Foundation’s second annual Black Tie Ball.
Hundreds attended the night of glitz and glamour at Nichols Point venue Willow and Ivie, enjoying the musical talents of The Voice winner Anja Nissen and local act Unchained.
The Lucas Foundation co-founder and event organiser Mark Thornton said organisers were thrilled with the year’s fundraising total, which smashed 2014’s $35,000 tally.
